Rye Patch Horse Farm and The Clubhouse in Rye patch sponsored its 1st Poker Run in support of Alee Shriners / Children's Hospital Sat. Oct. 24th. Tim Works says there was approx. 50 ATVs Jeeps and almost anything else that could go through the mud. There was children accompanied by adults that had more fun than the adults. Obviously safety was an important factor but that didn't hinder getting down and dirty after it started raining, which added to the festivities breakfast and lunch was available by the clubhouse. Tim Works and grandson Carlin drove the Monster provided by Planet Cycle of Claxton and Planet Cycle drove an army M151 Jeep. An ATV offroad track with jumps, mud pits designed to challenge the rider was built through out multiple pieces of property and it worked. 720.00 was donated to the Shriners Children's Hospital. This was our 1st Poker Run and we look forward to having many more with a better track and more challenging in the near future Tim said. He wanted to thank all the shiners and everyone else who assisted in the fund raiser and says its really all about money going for a great cause.

Robert Lane won 1st place (200.00) and Randy Simmons won 2nd place (80.00)

which both place winners donated the money back to the shriner's hospital. If you have anymore questions feel free to contact me at 912-545-2289.

Thanks Tim Works
